".....as I find myself being whisked away by the sounds of Aoede I need a copy of Push and Pull in the house, in the vehicle, in the studio and in my head all the time. I've added this gem to my own personal favorite collection, but then you will too once you've treated
your ears to this masterpiece! Just remember....A-E-D!" (Kit Carson McGuire, KRIM Radio)

Inspired, compelling stories of love, loss and longing spill out and take you, shake you, and wake you- emotionally evocative, intelligent, vocal driven *pop rock*...

Aoede (A-E-D) in Greek mythology was the first "muse of song." And I, Lisa Sniderman, singer-songwriter for Aoede, chose this name both to inspire you and to remember to continually be inspired...I draw inspiration from my own life experiences and many muses and aspire to transfer this inspiration to you. When you listen to my songs, expect compelling stories of love, loss and longing spilling out through the mouthpiece to my muse-intended to take you, shake you and wake you.

It's About YOU and your connection to me-I’m all about connecting with you in ways that make you feel and experience parts of yourself and hopefully resonate with you who has been there & can say, “yeah, I feel that too..." and maybe after listening, you experience some part of your own self that you forgot about. Maybe you are inspired to live life a little more fully or feel something. Because if I am doing what I Have to do, I don’t succeed unless I reach something inside of you. Plain and simple.

Propelled by our desire to connect with audiences, Aoede formed an indie *pop rock* band in 2005 comprised of San Francisco trio Lisa Sniderman, David Sands, and John Walden.

Aoede (the muse of song) combines the sincerity of Aimee Mann with dark undertones of Nick Cave. "Emotive and emotionally intelligent" (Corazine).

Aoede's song, I Lost You Win, is now being featured on all American Airline flights in January, Filter Magazine (Ch. 5)!
