Hi Lis! Hope you are recovering nicely from all the tryptophan b/c you are just in time for plenty-o-egg nog, those little sugar cookies shaped like trees and stars with sprinkles and unnatural colored frosting, and homemade, mouth watering, tasty bites of potato pancakes (no, not all together). Just wanted to give you an update on the latest Aoede news for December.  1. UPCOMING SF BAY AREA SHOWS:  Excited to announce that Aoede (electric) is taking part in a very special event, a Gogirls benefit for Hopalong Animal Rescue on Friday December 7 at the Starry Plough in Berkeley-alongside some fabulous women performers and women-fronted bands. Please mark your calendar and if you have friends in the SF Bay Area, please send them over! Aoede will be on 2nd, approximately 9:30pm. Doors at 8:30pm, show at 9:00 pm. Free CD to first 100 people! It's that time of the month again...Wednesday, December 19, you'll find Aoede and Marianne Barlow (unplugged) at the Bazaar Cafe for our one-year WomenROCK Acoustic showcase anniversary! Special guests, prizes, maybe even cake. Why not? You never know who will stop in to play some tunes so come and find out!   2. ALBUM PROGRESS and other sundry things...where to hold the CD release party??
