".....as I
find myself being whisked away by the sounds of Aoede I need a copy of
Push and Pull in the house, in the vehicle, in the studio and in my head
all the time. I've added this gem to my own personal favorite collection,
but then you will too once you've treated your ears to this masterpiece!
Just remember....A-E-D!" (KRIM Radio)

Greetings:
up close and personal..
heartspeak and is there a cure for what ails you?
Last month I confided in you and shared
some truly personal revelations. Many of you responded to this
heartspeak, and I was touched and realized that if
you are
taking the time each month to read this and come along with me on my
journey, my biggest hope is that you are in turn inspired or moved
to feel or to do something from the heart. Maybe it's to pick up
your dusty violin again just for the sheer joy of playing it or even
pick up the phone and reconnect with someone who once moved you. I
keep channeling my energies into music and connecting with you
knowing deep inside that if this is where my heart lives, this must
be my path towards healing..
memorable
musical moments.. the muse is awake; is the universe
listening? In early February, I conveyed that I
started embarking upon two related paths-working on both my next
album and on a children's book and companion cd (or cd and companion
book?). Thanks to the flow of the muse (and to Dave for his time and
energy playing bass or mixing), I wrote and did some home recordings
for some special new songs. Now I am excited and ready to
collaborate with a great producer to take all of the song babies to
another level and help realize the vision of a second full length
album. At the same time, the muse appeared full of ideas for the 3
additional water-related songs and chapters for the book. I can only
hope the muse keeps flowing...
I was
thrilled to learn that Blue Gold was featured by Green Sangha for their Rethinking
Plastics blog in February and also was played at a small film
screening in Santa Cruz, California for Sam Bozzo's film Blue
Gold.
Lastly, I was asked to do a feature
for a Music in Action series in May. Will keep you posted as that
unfolds, but I feel privileged to be considered.
Cool
Stuff-check it out (sidebar) and let me know if
you have stuff to include next time!

hasn't died, but someone has a new love interest...girl is on top of
