Aoede-POP ROCK-News From the Muse-
JUNE 2010

"Sniderman’s vocals are a standout, and are clearly the focus of the album. Her voice has power without being overpowering. She flows through melodic lines without distracting flips or ever having to shout at the audience." (Muzik Reviews)

Push and Pull

Inspired, compelling stories of love, loss and longing spill out and take you, shake you, and wake you-emotionally evocative, intelligent, vocal driven *pop rock*...

 Greetings:

up close and personal...did you ever imagine you'd be here doing this?
look at your life today...how many of us could have predicted 10 years ago-even 5 years ago that this is how we'd be spending it? where we'd be living? who we'd be spending it with?
I wrote a new song that we just recorded that begs the question, what if you already knew? maybe that's the beauty of life-not knowing what happens next. not knowing what tomorrow brings. For me, I believe everything I have experienced happened to bring me to exactly where I am. Now the obvious rhetorical question is: what happens next?

memorable musical moments..  the muse is determined; will the universe deliver?

Three new singles have been recorded, mixed and are sounding great! Excited to be getting the masters during the next few weeks and will hopefully be able to release them soon! Now I am eager to work on more songs and keep the creative vision moving forward. We plan to record in LA again end of this month.

I also am really thrilled to have just finished a draft project proposal to help move forward ideas for
Alice in Waterland-connecting teens with their watersheds through story (my young adult fantasy novel), music (companion cd) and film. Hopefully the project will be compelling enough to attract some partners and grant funds!

Just a quick shout out to those of you who stopped by to see us play at the Chocolate and Chalk Festival in Berkeley last Saturday. Many heartfelt thanks! A special shout to sister Helen for filming! It was a beautiful sunny day chalk-filled with amazing art and melty chocolate, much melodic music, silly signs sporting pictures of my dented del sol (poor blue) and you:

Cool Stuff-check it out (sidebar) and let me know if you have stuff to include next time!
